The Law of Karma

The Law of Karma The theme of this article is the concept of Karma, which is common to most easte philosophies, be it Hinduism or Buddhism. It is said that in accordance with the guard at night, when the Buddha was reached the lights of another kind of knowledge that complement the knowledge of its rebirth? The law of Karma. Karma is mistaken in the West as a doctrine of fate or predestination. Not so. The word Karma literally means action? and the Law of Karma is the infallible law of cause and effect that goves the universe. The doctrine of Karma has many implications in terms of how to conduct our lives. First, this means that all our actions will lead to its natural consequence. You may not know what the consequences, and indeed may be delayed by different periods of time, but inevitably. In Tibetan Buddhism the inevitable punishment, which, however, is not obvious, is compared with the shade of a comet or an eagle, as in search of prey. When the eagle is high in the sky the shadow is not to be seen. However, when the eagle sweeps the field to celebrate the capture of prey is its menacing shadow. Just as we are not aware of the consequences of our actions, but for the most part it seems that the shadow of the eagle suddenly. The law of Karma is not limited to people? There are family karma, national karma, Karma Inteational, the town of Karma. All these are mixed with the Karma of the individual, and therefore the case that people are living are influenced by events completely outside their control. These are all interconnected, and Karma can be understood in its full complexity only by an enlightened being. The Law of Karma gives us guidance on how to conduct our lives. When misfortune strikes, but we know that will not last for ever happen in time. And now we know through the Law of Karma is the consequences that inevitably followed the actions of our past. The attitude to adopt when there are problems with this? That this, what is happening, is coming to fruition of our past Karma. We do not see the suffering as a punishment, or we blame ourselves and meet the self-hatred. Tibetans say that suffering is the broom that sweeps away our negative karma. Also we can be grateful that the karma is coming to an end. Easte philosophy is full of stories of how the criminals and the murderers have overcome their bad karma and become? even the monks and saints. Angulimala is an example. Killed 999 people in its previous life as a bandit. But he was won by the Buddha and became a monaco and a scientist. Similarly in Tibetan Buddhism, is the story of Milarepa. He was a magician who has killed many people with their black magic for revenge or profit. However, through his repentance and penance and hardship that has been submitted to be passed to become enlightened? a figure of inspiration for millions of people. These are just some brief comments on Karma. Please visit the website of Easte Philosophy and subscribe to the newsletter for free to many more such articles.
