What about 4400

What about 4400 Killings are so common in our country that a single homicide seldom takes national attention unless the perpetrator or the victim is already a celebrity. Even a double murder is not national news. It takes several murders, licenses, CNN and the network evening news. The Oklahoma bombing 19 April 1995, which monopolized the news for days, claiming 167 lives and injured about 500. The TWA Flight 800 disaster, 19 July 1996 snuffed the lives of 212 passengers and 17 crew members. Of course there is also the 3000-and people who died on September 11, 2001.When a catastrophe of this magnitude happens, the whole nation, to draw attention to the families of the dead and evil. Nothing seems more important to discover why this happened and what can be done to stop it happening again.Disasters in other parts of the world can also claim our attention for a couple of days, if a sufficient number of people have had a death or injury. Bhopal, India, disaster (3 December 1984) were killed and more than 4,000 thousand wounded. The Pan Am flight 103 exploded over Lockerbie, Scotland (21 December 1988), the death of over 200, including 35 American college students. And of course, as there are hundreds of thousands of victims of the tsunami of 26 December 2004. We hear of these disasters in shocked disbelief. We sympathize, we cry, we pray for the victims' families.Yet on every day in the U.S. alone, 4400 lives ended by abortion. Yesterday he died in 4400, today, another 4400 and 4400 more tomorrow. A disaster anywhere in the world, that many lives in one day would have been the center of the limelight of the media. Congress would investigate, to shut down an entire industry, safety inspection, or the rapid relief organizations, a massive campaign donation. All this is done for today's 4400. Nobody notices, some people seem care. For all the 4400 injury, there is a mother, father and grandparents. Doctors, nurses, health workers and others affected by the tragedy. A large number of people who are in mouing or calloused the hurt.God has his saints to take care of the weak and helpless, to defend those who have no other defenders (Psalm 82:3-4, Ezekiel. 34:4 , Acts 20: 35). What are we doing today for the 4400? We are for their families? It is important to us what happened? Tomorrow will be another 4400 are killed. What about them?
