Why does not God answer my prayers
Why does not God answer my prayers I heard a story about a girl who wrote to a missionary. He said not to require a response from him because missionaries are very busy. He wrote, "We are praying for you, but we are awaiting a reply." Do you feel like God does not answer your prayers? It seems that still have not heard? In reality, there is no such thing as a prayer unanswered. God has answered, but sometimes the answer is "no." God is a loving father, but their love is much more to satisfy our demands. This is not a parent who is selfish whims of children. He is not a bell hop is going on in our control or a genius who has everything you want. He is not a machine that spits when we want to encourage the right buttons. Is is right for us to run to God when you want something, but you ignore its laws and the rest of the time? If you do not love him, why wait to do as He sends us? Which is like a child who refuses all their parents' education, and no matter how it hurts your lifestyle mom and dad. However, when you want something, we run for parents who do not even care about? for use only when it suits. Children often say things like: "If you love me, you gave me what I want." This is not what love is. However, we say the same thing to God, right? God's ways are far above my ways, so I can not speak for him. But I'm sure as it is difficult for him to see his children suffer, as it is for us, while at the side of our guys are bad. Sometimes also love to say "No" Just as the pain of surgery is needed to help a patient, the emotional pain is sometimes necessary in our lives. There is also the question of free choice. Many of our children make poor choices. Sometimes parents rescuing their children when they are in bad situations. But this aid is often not useful. Only allow children to continue in the destructive lifestyle. They know that will be saved when the going more difficult. If you do not have to face the consequences of their behavior, why change? The same is true for all children of God if He gave us everything we wanted, rewarding us for going against their will, what would be motivated to live as we want? Even the care of their feelings or wishes? It 'also possible that what we interpret as a response of "no" to God, may be the man tells us to wait a while' time. He is the creator, we are creating. He is the potter, we are the clay. (Isaiah 64:8) Can the clay tell the potter what to do or when to do it? (Isaiah 29:16 and 45:9) There are three things I know for certain: 1) God loves me.2) has all the knowledge, so he knows what is best.3) has all the power and can do anything . When I put together all three (you can do anything, he loves me, and He knows what is best), then I am able to trust their decisions and their timing, if it makes sense for me to answer or not.Whether to their prayer is a "yes" or "no", or "wait", I replied to leave God to tu in their way.Author Marsha Jordan is the founder of a non -- profit and nonprofit called Hugs hope for sick children (More of his articles on depression are in her book, Hugs, Hope, and peanut butter, the construction of a collection of essays illustrated with drawings of children seriously ill.
