And 'why God heal us
And 'why God heal us WHY 'WE ARE NOT GOD HEAL? By Mariane Holbrook is the door of the home care of the mother and the bedroom crying silently. Could not see me. He Saturdays chair beside his bed with his head on her knees, a few small pillows wedged behind his back and a pink shawl, fueled by his frail and bony shoulders. She was moaning softly, "My God, help me. Please God, help me. " Tears were running streams in the face again as I asked God "Why? Why is this dear saint of God, suffering as well? It 'been 96 years. He suffered from constant pain for life. And if this were not enough, because you break a leg walking in the corridor and are in agony for several weeks in a cast on her leg never healed? Please help me understand the problem of pain. Please. "One moing before sunrise, God in his mercy, took the parent to be with him. His two daughters who lived near the nursing home it seemed that was put into a bag and carried out. Their depletion in the control treatments for several years, they cried in their grief, but grateful that his long struggle with infinite pain was finally over. That was nine years ago. I have just begun to understand the problem of pain, because I live with him. I understood then that the mother was still alive. I could be more compatible with his ministry and better. Before I was an observer of pain. Now I am a participant, but reluctantly.I part healing televangelists declare precious believers who are in their mass meetings. I saw the crutches are thrown caution aside, wheelchairs pushed against the walls as people with disabilities were encouraged to walk or run across the platform to the applause of thousands of people and shouting in public. I pray many are instantly cured, but what about those who are not? They go home in the most abject, total disappointment with God, do not always understand the reason for their pain? They continue to declare the healing, when there came? Worse still, you begin to lose their faith in Him who has saved? As evangelical Christians, we are taught that before there is healing in the atonement. "By his wounds we are healed." (Isaiah 53:3) and "He took our infirmities and carried our diseases. (Matthew 8:17) We have reason, "If we can trust Christ for our salvation, so we can not trust him for our healing? God does not leave a single soul who confesses his sin and asks forgiveness for the atoning blood of Jesus. Because it seems to be capricious and selective in choosing those who will be cured of their disease and those who do not want? "theologians of this debate have fought for centuries and are still to come, with the pain for the reason that fully meets those hurting. But for me, has been reduced to a simple explanation: the time, but healing grace is ever. Given the choice, I take all time.Grace grace was defined as "the free and unmerited grace of God or charity" or "God? s love, and not by merit. " The same God who saved my sins, I, that I was promised eteal life, can be trusted to know what must I do to be more to her Son, Jesus, it determines the amount of the pot boiling I need knowledge, not only for me but for those who follow my life. In his divine wisdom, determines that it has been selected to participate in "the company of his suffering." (Philippians 3: 10) When we pray for a healing touch of God on those who suffer? Yes, we must pray intensely and tirelessly for the exercise of faith and fulfill the promises of God. " But we have to pile on the guilt of persons with disabilities, saying that their lack of faith is the only reason they are not healed. My friend, Edith, was struck by polio and paralyzed from the chest down. It 'been contacted by a member of his church had to stay in his wheelchair by faith and walk. You and he could not blame her. You wiped the tears and kept his faith and trust in the Savior of his soul. It is not God's plan for his care on earth, but he gave a good Christian witness to its significance for years until God called her home. We are encouraged by God to pray for healing, we do not have the freedom to insist on the request for healing .. My mother watched the family, her suffering all her life, but I do not remember most of all his faith steadfast. His walk with God is not illegal, it was consistent. His testimony was finally made to which standard the rest of the measure of our lives. His "problem of pain" is not an accident, it was not indifference to God for his anxiety and work. God has used her grief for one reason: to refine and make a monument to the grace of God, under pressure, enormous pressure. Also in tears and his suffering, he knew that can not understand God's ways, but his confidence may heart. When love I was in college, our professor of Old Testament, Pastor Harold Freligh has a great circle on the blackboard. He made a point in the middle. Under what was written in large letters: "In the center of the circle of God's will, I am. There can be no second causes, must pass through all her dear hand. "Rev. Freligh was something other than me has suffered, especially now that I have my pain. It has a long horizontal line on the blackboard, and explained: "This is a shelf. With this, I put all my questions that I have no answer. When I get to heaven, God patiently explain to each of my full and complete satisfaction. "And so it is with pain. I do not know why a loved one six years boy who loves Jesus is in the fight against leukemia Illinois hospital today. I do not know why, my young friend Christian in Tennessee increased from 22 to 24 hours a day in bed, weakened and ravaged by multiple sclerosis. I can not explain why my good friend in Arizona struggles with sarcoidosis insidious and devastating pain for which no adequate treatment and non-medical cure.I have each of these friends on my "shelf" convinced that the their pain is not in vain, knowing that they have not been forgotten or neglected by God in his system of things. Each ministry is every day of their lives to the wonderful grace of Jesus, the eteal principle that makes their pain and significant evidence in a sustainable way. All, I am sure if they were able, would rise to full stature and singing: Wonderful Grace of Jesus, the greatest of all my sins, How to describe my mother, his praise Where to start? Taking my burden, Setting my spirit free, for the wonderful grace of Jesus me. Beautiful incomparable grace of Jesus, deeper than the mighty rolling sea, the highest mountain, sparkling like a fountain, All sufficient grace for me too, its scope is broader than that of my transgressions, Greater ii that all my sins and shame, O magnify the precious name of Jesus, Praise his name!
