The sinner Stewart

The sinner Stewart The sinner Stewart The 15th November 2005 a few years ago I heard a preacher deliver a sermon on "Sinners Stewart." The sermon was so bad that I left feeling confused. This preacher had tried to explain that it is good to steal, because that was his understanding this story. I knew that Jesus never the lesson of a theft, so I prayed and asked for his understanding of history and this is what Jesus mi. I would go with you. Luke 16:1 - 8 To understand this history, we have from the scene before us. Jesus had apparently just left the house one of the leaders of the Pharisees, who in Chapter 14:1 to teach and to eat. We see in Chapter 14:25 with multitudes after him, including the Pharisees, the search for any excuse to accuse him of breaking the law. In chapter 15:1 he is accused of receiving and eating with sinners, Jesus again and begins to teach. It should be noted that Jesus was a Jew and his earthly ministry was for the Jewish nation. In Matthew 15:24, Jesus says: "I was sent, but not to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." And in Matthew 10:5, when sending his disciples, he tells them: "Do not go by way of the Gentiles." The ministry of Jesus is a microcosm of what the Jewish people should have been. Jesus was a man to do what the Jewish people as the "chosen people" should have done. And only through the Son of God bo in the flesh, which has been obtained that the children of Abraham was. God had for the Jewish nation as a witness in the world, but that is a God, a powerful and God is a God of love. God manifested his power by the Jews, and blessed with the circumcision, to distinguish them from Gentiles. Blessed with the priesthood, and gave them the law and the oral law. God has given their blessings upon blessings. During all this the Jews began to think of himself as the man only from God, and instead of witnessing to the world of God, was a hermit, hoarding and blessings of the gifts given them by God. " So Jesus came to be witnesses so that the world must not be lost. But before he had a certificate for the people who first were witnesses or not. The story of sinners Steward was said, for the benefit of the Pharisees, doctors of law and to understand that the blessings, gifts and promises, which had accumulated and wasted, if there is to be devoid of any basis for a new Steward (Jesus itself), and that while there is still time, must make an effort which, to them by God to those under the blessing of the new covenant, which will soon be introduced. Distribution of verses of this parable, there are verses 1-2 Lu 16:1 And he said to his disciples, there is a certain rich man who had a manager, and the same was accused him wasted, that he were. 2 And he called him and said, how is it that I heard from you? provide an overview of his administration, which is no longer an administrator. Man is God who is rich and free, then his wealth. The Steward is the Jewish nation, which is given the task of administering the fullness of God. " But because God has been wasted wealth, the Jews should be replaced by a new Steward (Jesus Christ). Verses 3-7 Lu 16:3 Then said the steward in itself, what should I do? for my Lord to handle me: I can not dig, to beg I am ashamed. 4 I am resolved to do what if I, by the administration, which may contact with me in their homes. 5 So he called every one of the debtors of his master to him, and said the first, you owest As to my Lord? 6 And he said, a hundred measures of oil. And he said to him, take your bill and sit down quickly and write fifty. 7 As he spoke of another, as owest you? And he said, a hundred measures of wheat. And he said to him, take your bill and write fourscore. It is said that if they understand, you should plan for the future. No longer able, because they do not have the blessing of God would come in the form of another administrator. If you are not left out in the cold, which must be the one that was stolen and who are in debt. In this way, they will not be forgotten, when those who are in bonds have the blessing and the former directors are in debt. 8 Lu 16:8 And the Lord commended the unjust directors, because, as he had done for the children of this world are wiser in their generation of the sons of light. The former praises the Lord Steward for his injustice, but because it is for its future. Although he is no longer able to manage the blessing of God, he can still be part of this blessing.
