The new birth This is for you all mothers (and fathers) who prayed CHILDRENThis FOR YOUR story is the number nine (fifty) from my book, My Walk with the Lord, 40 1.2 "I waited patiently for the Lord and he inclined to me and heard my cry. He took me from a horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and my foot on a rock, and my walk. "Christmas 1972 was my first Christmas away from home. I was in Army stationed at Fort Leavenworth, Kansas. I have a package from my mother. When I opened, I found some fresh Georgia Pecans, some home-made fruit cake, a bottle of syrup of sugar cane, fresh, and a few other items. At the bottom of the box was a Bible. During this period of my life, I have not had much to do with God and his ways.During later years, I wish sometimes that the Bible and try reading ... I am not very sure of what I read. All begats have me.The years 1985 and 1986 were trying times for me. I was still in the army and had a great career, when my family fell apart. My wife and I with three small children. At first I tried to blame others when deep inside I knew I was guilty. I needed something, but I do not know what would be only my pain.Well, I was in church (Proverbs 22.6: "Train a child in the way he, and when he is old, not from her." ;) I'm going to church for help. Advise, as I have with the priest, gave me a deck of cards that I had to read and fill, and then he would have spoken of a membership .. I do not need this! I had Jesus, but nobody showed me Him.On 3rd January 1987, at 9:30 PM, I saw the library. And the Bible was my mother I had a couple of years ago. I drew that dusted the cover, and open. The words of the Psalmist (Ps. 40. 1,2), jumped from the pages and said to my heart. As tears poured my cheeks, I said: "God, if they are real, save me!" Immediately Jesus came, and I was rebo, and I knew it! I felt like I was washed over White snow.You see, I was convinced in the power of the Holy Spirit, for a long period of time. God the new circumstances in my life for my attention. Thank God for a mother who has thought enough of me give me a Bible.Matthew 11.28 "Come to me all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest." Since that day, more than 17 years, the Lord has given me .. in all kinds of possibilities ... Parents, do not abandon your children .. Continue to pray for themIrvin L. Rozier, Captain (retired) U.
