True Love

True Love   You have heard that it was said, you love your neighbor and hate your enemy. But I tell you: Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who despitefully use and persecute you, so if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? not even the publicans the same? And when you prayest should not be like the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on street coers, which can be seen of men. In truth I tell you, they have their reward. No man can serve two masters: either for hatred and love of others, or be bound to one and despise the other. You can not serve God and Mammon. You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength: this is the first commandment. For all the law is fulfilled in one word, even in this, you love your neighbor as yourself. But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law. Behold, how to love the Father has given us, which should be called children of God: therefore the world does not know us, because I do not know. This is the message we have heard from the beginning, which we must love one another. We know that we have passed from death to life because we love the brethren. He who loves not his brother abideth in death. Perception of this, the love of God, because He laid down his life for us, and we must fix our lives for the brethren. Dear friends, we must love one another: for love is of God, and everyone who loves is bo of God, and God knows. Who does not love has not known God, because God is love. This is manifested the love of God toward us, because God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. Here is love, not that we loved God, but He loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. Beloved, if God so loved us, we too should love one another. No man has seen God at any time. If we love one another, God dwells in us and his love is perfected in us. And we have known and believed the love that God has for us. God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God and God abides in him. Here is our passion for perfection, which can have courage in the day of trial, because, as he is, so are we in this world. There is no fear in love, but perfect love casteth fear: because fear has torment. Who is not afraid of perfection in love. We love him, because he loved us first. If a man says: I love God and hates his brother is a liar: for who does not love his brother who has seen, how can love God whom he has not seen? And this commandment we have from him, that he loves God, love also his brother. For this, we know that we love the children of God when we love God and keep his commandments. For this is the love of God, who keeps his commandments and his commandments are not serious.
