I was proud to take my old army cap, and the pride of being Americans. --- Applause seemed to have been honored by many veterans of World War II through Iraqi war.As my military service, he retued to my mind the day I raised my right hand and pledged to support and defend our nation . The Gideons soldiers have given us a New Testament, in that day. Small book that I had followed all over the world, but I had lost. I have a friend who had moved south of Carolina.A few days later, this friend called me and asked if I had given my Army New Testament. He said no, his ex-wife probably had. Two days later, said the Holy Spirit told him to look in your box of rifle ammunition .. At the top of the box is my Bible and a copy of the Lord's Prayer. The most powerful of all the ammunition, was the top! On 19 May 2003, Mike came from South Carolina and brought me my missing Bible.
