Reflections on the road to Emmaus

Reflections on the road to Emmaus ?. . . their eyes were opened, and he has acknowledged. . . ? Luke 24:31 Two friends? People who had known Jesus, who walked with him, talked with him, and eat meals with him every day for a period of three years? I do not recognize even a long walk along a dusty road. Ever wonder about that? Ho. How can that possibly be? The reality is this: the disciples were looking for a man who happened to be traveling the same way they were. Do not see Jesus because they did not expect to see Jesus. How many times in our walks of life that we see Jesus? How many times talking to a partner or a parent or child or friend or even someone who has never met before and do not recognize that this person is a precious piece of our Lord and Savior in her womb? And why not recognize Jesus in them, not treat them as Jesus would, but only as our friend or our collaborator, or just need to do our Jesus child. It terribly sad for all our pious words Florido and assumptions, yet is recognized in every other. Moreover, consider this: It 'possible that, in religious settings, we look to another, and instead of seeing Jesus, we see only the other person? s religion, its brand? And why do not we see Jesus, we are told: "You obviously are not so spiritual? If you want, when we are on our knees, or use, instead of representing the crucified Lord, or pray to statues and icons instead of the living God, or if you do not have our stamp, and then, of course, God will not in his kingdom. "Therefore, let so much time into question whether the commitment of time and of Jesus to fight the man made rules and laws that you forget those who have lost badly. We forget to do God's real work? Ministry for those who hunger for his word and his truth in their lives. Instead, after being seduced by Satan into believing that the kingdom of God is a kind of exclusive club, we spend our time fighting among themselves who will and should not see that the world goes to hell around us. However, we can open our eyes and the promise of God? s work here on earth. Instead of judging, we are able to reach the lost souls? N. tell the love of God, but to show how great God? S love. Witnessing the way we live and how we treat one another, so that we see and say: "I want to be like them. I want what they have. "And then, perhaps, the grace of God touches their hearts and make them ask," How do I find it? What to do? "But this way of life depends on whether or not you see Jesus in every person who happen to walk along a path in our day to day. When we look at another person, you see someone who is worthy of Christ? S message? Someone who loves God beyond measure? We do not see Jesus? Lost, evil, and alone? Or just another person.I say the truth, what he has done one of these, he has done for me. ? Matthew 25:45 Think the waing inherent in these words. Our goal should be to not treat others as we want to be treated, but treat us like Jesus God is the real work. We were instructed to spend our time ministry in God? S for the children, instead of trying to improve our status in the eyes or to impress a another.By opening our eyes to Jesus? the presence in those around us, we come to see his spirit is manifest in our lives. Therefore, we can say that, like the disciples at the conclusion of the story of Emmaus? Were not our hearts buing within us, we talked about, while on the road. . . Luke 24:32 Open your eyes. This opportunity is with you now. Do not miss this opportunity to meet Jesus in your midst at this time. Staci StallingsNeed more inspiration?
