Crawford We pray to God for at least two important reasons. First of all, God has commanded us to pray. Second in a purely selfish reason, please make things happen. Another way to look at things? prayer, work, or of cause and effect. Many texts of the Bible exhorts us to pray to God (I Thessalonians 5:16-18, James 1:5? 8, James 5: 13? 18, and Philippians 4:6, 7). This is just a sampling of verses that encourage us to pray. Prayer is a way for us to communicate with God. " You can pray to God with the Lord of? Prayer (Matthew 6:8-13), or you can just talk about God. " God is constantly aware of what we do and what we say. He is omnipotent. Yet, we must exercise our faith acknowledging God Prayer is a way to communicate with us and recognize God Of course, we must be sincere in our prayers to God, God, unlike man can not be deceived. And 'because God knows everything, sees everything and understands everything. God weighs the hearts of men and women. He knows the purity and the hypocrisy and grades between the two. An example of God? s the ability to determine the sincerity occurred when Jesus looked at people to give money to the Treasury. Many have given money according to their abundance, but a poor widow gave all he had (Mark 12:41-44). This is a test of the heart. Only God can make a pure court of another person? s heart. Prayer can be a cause and effect on our lives. For example, when Paul was in prison the people of the church continually prayed and God sent an angel to free from prison by Paul (Acts 12: 5-11). Also, Jesus prayed to God to Peter? S name (Luke 22:31 and 32), has prayed for Peter? s faith, you should t failure. Also, Jesus prayed for him and his disciples (Matthew 26:36-46) In short, we see that God answers prayer, then nothing is impossible. In addition, you can pray to God every issue that conces us. We can give thanks, we are able to make requests. The big thing is the prayer that we can t tell anyone what to pray. Pray for yourself, your parents, your brother, your sister, your boss, your present, your future, your country and your?. Pray, pray, and pray! Copyright 2003, Stanley T. Crawford is the publisher?
